A Membership Savings Account is your first step to becoming a member. Once you join our credit union with this savings account, you will immediately begin receiving our membership benefits.  There are no special investment terms and dividends are paid to you monthly.

There is a $50.00 opening deposit and a $1.00 membership fee.

Organizational Account

Own a business? Belong to a club or service organization? Establishing an Organizational Savings Account will allow your business or organization to enjoy the many membership benefits at CU Hawaii. The only requirement is that your business or organization maintains a facility or is located on the Island of Hawaii . It's that easy!

College Solutions

CU Hawaii wants to help make your college years a little more enjoyable and a lot less stressful with our College Solutions package.  The benefits of this package are offered to any full time student (at least 12 credits) that is attending an accredited college or university.  CU Hawaii rewards young adults who are pursuing their education and gives them a chance to establish their credit as they begin their journey to financial freedom and independence.  These benefits offer great membership advantages, which includes:

Youth Savings Accounts

Moola Moola Account

WHAT IS MOOLA MOOLA? AND WHO ARE THE MONEY MINDERS?

Moola Moola is a magical money monster from the make-believe land of Lotta Loot. Moola Moola’s friends, the Money Minders are his colorful sidekicks. Together they make a fun and educational savings club for kids.



HOW DOES MOOLA MOOLA WORK?

This savings club teaches children the importance and responsibility of saving using fun puzzles, activity books, games and prizes. Your keiki even receives their own quarterly newsletter with fun activities and special Moola Moola news. Children learn how to make, save and spend money responsibly.

Children 13 and under can sign up to be a Moola Moola member by depositing $5.00 into their new Moola Moola Account. For every $5.00 deposit, you receive a stamp and you keep track of these stamps in a special savings book. You can redeem these stamps for prizes! We also have special events throughout the year like Moola Moola’s Birthday celebration!

Kids Club Account

Our Kids Club Account is a savings account for youths between the ages of 14-18 years old. This special account provides youths with a way to save and manage their own money.  Open a Kids Club Account for your child with a minimum $5.00 initial deposit and a one time, $1.00 membership fee.  It’s never too early to start saving for your child’s future financial needs!

* All savings accounts require a minimum balance of $100 to earn dividends.
