Building a Family Legacy 

Wehi’s Boutique began in 2015 when owner Marcel started designing clothing at night under the name Wehi Designs by Marcel, all while working full-time as a licensed contractor. 

Today, that hard work has blossomed into a inspiring family collaboration. Marcel’s daughter, pursuing her bachelor’s degree in business entrepreneurship, has stepped into her mother’s footsteps.  

They worked in collaboration on the Ani by Wehi swim collection, she manages the Hilo boutique, and completely built the Hilo coffee bar from the ground up — from sourcing local beans to training the staff.
