MEMBER APPRECIATION MONTH GRAND PRIZE GIVEAWAY OFFICIAL RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER DRAWINGS.
CU Hawaii Federal Credit Union is the sponsor of the Drawings. The Credit Union's business address is: 476 Hinano Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720.
Entry Period: The Entry Period begins March 1, 2026, at 12:00 AM HST and ends on April 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM HST. All qualifying actions must be completed during this period to be eligible. The prize drawing will be conducted within seven (7) days after April 30, 2026.
Eligibility: To qualify for the Drawings, entrants must: Be at least 18 years of age Be a Member in good standing with CU Hawaii Not be an employee or official of the Credit Union
Entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Credit Union.
How to Enter: Eligible entrants may enter the Giveaway by completing one or more of the following actions on or after March 1, 2026, and before the end of the Entry Period: 1. Open a new 1-Year Certificate of Deposit (CD) 2.Open a new CU Hawaii Platinum Credit Card 3. Open a new Kasasa Rewards Savings Account Completion of any one (1) of the above actions provides one entry into each prize drawing. Entries must meet all Giveaway requirements to be eligible. Incomplete entries or those that do not adhere to these rules may be disqualified at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Fraudulent methods of entry or rule circumvention may result in invalidation of entries.
Prizes: There will be a total of 77 prize winners: Grand Prizes: Seven (7) winners will each receive a $500 Certificate of Deposit (CD). Winners will be randomly selected from eligible members who opened a qualifying product on or after March 1, 2026.
Additional Prizes: • Seventy (70) winners will each receive a CU Hawaii cooler bag. • Winners will be randomly selected from eligible members who opened a qualifying product on or after March 1, 2026. Selected winners will be contacted directly the week of May 4th. Limit one prize per member.
Announcing the Winners: The Credit Union will notify winners directly by phone. Winners need not be present. A list of winners' names will be available upon request.
Privacy & Personal Information: Personal information collected will be used solely for administering the Drawings. CU Hawaii will not sell or disclose entrants'information to third parties except those engaged to fulfill Drawing-related tasks. Liability/General Rules: The Credit Union is not responsible for any loss, which may occur in connection with the Drawing. Entrant agrees to hold the Credit Union harmless from any liability arising from participation in the Drawings or the acceptance, receipt, possession, or misuse of the prize. The Credit Union and each of its officers, directors, employees, members, representatives, and agents are not responsible for any negligence, claims, liability, injury, property loss, or other damages of entrants and/or winners arising from, or in connection with, acceptance, receipt, possession, or use/misuse of prizes awarded or participation in this Drawings. The Credit Union is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by tampering, hacking or by any of the equipment or programming associated with the Drawings. Prizes cannot be substituted, assigned, or transferred by winners. The Credit Union reserves the right to disqualify entrants who fail to follow these Official Rules and regulations or who make any misrepresentations relative to the Drawings and redemption of a prize.
Publicity Authorization: Each winner agrees to permit the Credit Union to utilize his/her name and likeness in promotional and other Credit Union materials, wit hout additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.
Arbitration: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Drawings, the entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this drawing or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively, by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") and shall be held at the AAA regional office nearest the participant; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement, and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award is binding. Under no circumstances will the entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and the entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorney's fees,other than the entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this drawing), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
Choice of Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and the Credit Union in connection with the Drawings, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Hawaii, USA, without regard to choice of law rules.
