Payroll Deduction (Automatic Payments)

A convenient, automatic way to stay on track

With payroll deduction, your loan payment is automatically taken from your paycheck—so you never have to worry about missing a due date.

How it works:

  • A portion of your paycheck is deposited directly into your account.
  • Your loan payment is automatically applied from those funds.
  • Direct deposit is required to set up payroll deduction.
  • A form must be completed and signed to authorize this service.
  • Payment deductions can be split based on your payroll frequency.

Recurring Automatic Payments

This option is ideal if you do not have direct deposit set up to your account. Your loan payment is automatically withdrawn each month from your checking or savings account.

How it works:

  • Payments are withdrawn from your checking or savings account.
  • You can choose a set date each month for your payment.
  • Funds must be available in your account on the scheduled date.
  • A form must be completed and signed to authorize this service.

External Transfers

Using Funds from Another Financial Institution (Bill Pay)

  1. Log in to your external financial institution’s online banking.
  2. Navigate to Bill Pay.
  3. Add your loan as a payee (if it’s not already set up).
    • You may need your loan number and payment details.
  4. Schedule your payment.
  5. Select a delivery date that ensures your payment arrives before your due date.

Please note: Delivery times vary—electronic Bill Pay may be faster, but mailed checks can take up to 7–10 business days. Schedule early to avoid late payments.
